Gerontology includes the changes which occur physically, mentally & emotionally in people as age passes. This study of aging individuals & the problems they face during old age includes gerontology. Whereas geriatrics is a branch of medicine that studies elderly patients leading to health & care for old people. Special care is given to oncology & cancer patients.
