Shao-Yi Cheng is an Associate professor of Department of Family Medicine in National Taiwan University. She is also serving as a Director of Health Center, National Taiwan University. She is an Editor-in-Chief at Taiwan Journal of Hospice Palliative Care and she was a Director at United Daily News for employees, Taipei. She also an Attending physician of Department of Family Medicine at National Taiwan University Hospital and she is playing as a Secretary- general in Taiwan Johns Hopkins Alumni Club. Professional Memberships in Taiwan Association of Family Medicine, Taiwan Academy of Hospice Palliative Medicine, Taiwan Association of International Health.
