Tissue regeneration following injury or health problem is generally thought to recapitulate embryonic development by exploiting similar molecular and cellular pathways. The use of stem cells to wounds is advantageous, as stem cells have the power to differentiate and replace the lost or injured tissue, as well as manipulate multiple biological pathways quickly through paracrine signal. Stem cell biology and regenerative medicine are rapidly developing fields. The establishment of latest technology and the development of novel stem cell populations have permitted scientists to require an additional in-depth method to the study specific diseases and biological processes.
